Course description |
This course involves students looking outward from their final semester and thinking proactively about life after graduation. Students will design a degree show and all relevant personal collateral in order to prepare for their professional life. Students will reflect back on their body of work to date from their final senior year(s) and edit accordingly. Research and preliminary work will be streamlined, projects will be finalised and made ready for an audience setting. As well as this individual responsibility students will need to work as a year group in order to curate and communicate the degree show space as a whole.
There will be multiple opportunities for discussion and negotiation with each other and commercial specialists in order to support the process. Students are expected to produce highly resolved, appropriately scaled and detailed outcomes which are communicated convincingly to a specified audience.
The indicative structure of the course is outlined on Learn.
