Learning Outcomes 
    On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
    
        - Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of common statistical terms such as p-value, confidence interval, etc
 - Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of, and the ability to carry out, exploratory data analysis and basic statistical analysis
 - Demonstrate the ability to specify a relevant hypothesis in relation to a research question
 - Demonstrate the ability to display graphically and describe the data collected
 - Demonstrate knowledge of and the ability to carry out appropriate simple statistical analyses using a computer package such as Minitab and SPSS
