Learning Outcomes
Students will:
¿Gain knowledge of the central microeconomic concepts that can be applied to health and health care.
¿Develop their understanding of the potential role of markets in health care regulation and reform.
¿Acquire skills for conducting and appraising economic evaluations of health care programmes.
¿Progress their knowledge and understanding of how basic concepts of equity can be used to evaluate inequalities in health service access, use and outcomes.
