Year 1 Academic year: 2019/20, Starting in: September

Notes:
The following is the recommended programme structure. However, there is flexibility over the two years for which year would like to take each compulsory course; please contact your Supervisor/ Programme Administrator to finalise your particular programme of study.

Students must audit an option course relevant to their research interests, one alongside each Supervised Research course. Optional courses to be taken as Class Only for zero credits. Optional courses are subject to availability and approval of the Course Organiser and students' Supervisor; students may not get their first choice option course.

Students may choose to take Research Methods and Problems in English Literature (for Research Students) instead of Research Methods and Problems in English Literature with the concession of the programme director.
