Half of the full-time credit load must be taken in each year. Exact arrangements can be arranged to suit the individual student's requirements but this must be discussed with the Director of Studies before any courses are chosen.
Students are required to choose 40 credits of pre-1800 courses and 40 credits of post-1800 courses as part of their elective courses across both semesters (across Year 1 and Year 2). Please note that 'Internship in a Museum or Public Institution HIAR11103' is a full year, 20 credit course and is a post-1800 option with the majority of the course content taking place in Semester 2.
