Notes:
The Programme Director must approve choice of courses. Students must consult with the current academic year's course information available on DRPS.

For courses co-taught with undergraduate students and with no remaining undergraduate spaces left, a maximum of 5 MSc students can join the course. Priority will be given to MSc students who wish to take the course for credit on a first come first served basis.

Students with no previous experience of philosophy will be required to take the Philosophical Methods I course in semester 1 and 60 credits of option courses. Students with a background in philosophy may be exempted from taking Philosophical Methods I with the agreement of the Programme Director, and will take 80 credits of option courses.

NOTE: This programme is available to study part-time (PT). PT students must complete the same requirements as full-time over two academic years. The dissertation must be completed during Year 2, after progression to the dissertation stage has been confirmed by the Board of Examiners. All course choices are subject to the approval of the supervisor. Students are advised that course availability may vary across years subject to staffing arrangements.
