It is strongly recommended that students on all joint honours psychology programmes take the course Data Analysis for Psychology in R1.

Notes:
It is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED that you choose outside courses in first year that follow on into second year, so that there is the possibility of an alternative degree programme at the end of second year. An overall maximum of 40 credits at level 7 is permitted across years one and two.

Notes:
Entry into Honours requires a mean mark of 50% or above in Psychology 2A and Psychology 2B (with a minimum of 40% achieved at the first attempt) and a mark of 40% or above in Research Methods and Statistics at the first attempt.
AND
a pass in Economics 2

Students may replace Critical Analysis or Psychology Mini Dissertation for a 10 or 20 credit level 9/10 outside (i.e. non-psychology) course. Permission from the Course Organiser is required for this, see the 3rd Year Course Handbook for further details

Students returning to Year 4 from a year of study abroad who have not taken and passed courses equivalent to PSYL10126 Research Methods and Statistics 2 and PSYL10127 Research Methods and Statistics 3 while abroad will be required to take one or both of these courses in Year 4.

There are no compulsory courses in this year of this programme.
