| Summary | The Geophysics Professional Placement L11 course will be taken together with the Geophysics Professional Placement L10 course in the 4th year of the integrated Master in Earth Physics programme as the 4th year of the integrated Masters programme. |  
| Course description | Students will spend 12 months working on a project related to the degree programme whilst employed by an approved and appropriate research company/institute (in the UK or abroad). Students are recruited by companies on a competitive basis and may choose which positions they would like to apply for based on their interests and preferred geographical location. The course provides opportunities to broaden horizons and gain valuable insight into the professional application of their chosen degree programme this enhancing future career paths. Assessment consists of marks for a written report and oral examination of the project, and aspects of the performance on the placement. |
