| Pre-requisites | Entry to any language course above introductory level is subject to a language test by the relevant subject area on arrival and at the discretion of the course organiser. Students entering this course should come with a B2/C1 of Russian as a minimum. Students who do not perform at this level will be moved to ELCR08003 Russian Language 2 |

Course-work assessment: written language exercises including Prose (translation into Russian) and guided writing; continuous assessment of oral work, 2 written class tests, Oral test, final Oral assessment End-of-year exam assessment: a three-hour written-language paper (Prose and Writing in Style). |
