Course description Knowledge and understanding of species specific risks and problems associated with anaesthesia in ruminants, camelids and pigs;

Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
  1. To be able to identify risk factors specific to ruminants camelids and pigs relevant for anaesthesia and analgesia
  2. To be able to discuss species specific perianaesthetic management in ruminants, camelids and pigs
  3. To select appropriate equipment for anaesthesia of ruminants camelids and pigs
  4. To be able to critically compare different techniques in anaesthesia and analgesia
