Students will receive written feedback for the each of the written assessment components and oral test.¿Correct answers and explanations to textbook and reading assignments will be provided after student¿s online tests.¿You will also receive informal and oral feedback throughout the semester on your performance in oral tutorials and other classes. You should make use of both forms of feedback to identify which areas you are doing well in, as well as which areas need improvement. Effective use of feedback will help you improve on your overall performance.

Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
  1. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and understanding of a relatively high degree of grammatical structures.
  2. Apply knowledge and skills in understanding complex and professional-level texts on concrete or abstract topics.
  3. Compose and construct clear and flowing complex texts in an appropriate and effective style.
  4. Convey complex information and interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity to/with native Chinese speakers.
