Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Understanding and ability to articulate the concept of quality in the design manufacture of products.
- Appreciation of the detrimental effect of defects created in the manufacturing process.
- Familiarity with and ability to implement quantitative methods of measuring and minimizing defects.
- Knowledge of the fundamentals of Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Knowledge of the fundamentals of Design of Experiments (DoE).
