Summary | During their final year students undertake a significant piece of project work under the supervision of a member of the academic staff within the School. The duration of the project depends on the specific degree programme, but will normally span a period of several months. Students are encouraged to generate their own project outline, subject to approval from the School's Teaching Committee; alternatively students may choose to develop a project from a list of titles supplied by a member of the academic staff. Projects may also be carried out in collaboration with industry. The project is advanced through deployment of accepted engineering and research practises. |
