Course description |
An understanding of the topics will enable leaders to lead change, use compelling communication to enable change, and to transform services, teams and processes.
The module consists of three units: Leadership, Change and Communication and combines taught sessions, with work-based tasks and assessments and directed reading, study and research. Its main aims are to increase awareness and impact of organisational behaviour on leadership, management and performance; enable current and aspiring leaders to understand and evaluate own leadership skills and styles and to know when and how to deploy a range of leadership styles to improve engagement; and understand the key theories and ideas behind highly effective and engaging presentations that invoke action.
