On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- To be able to confidently upload and manipulate data sets into R
- To understand the concepts of data structures, functions and transforming data
- To generate simple graphical output from R, and to format such output for publication
- To become aware of the capabilities of a range of important R packages for epidemiology
- To be able to generate graphical summaries of spatial data perform basic analyses
