Course description This final year Dissertation is a standalone research project where students will have the opportunity to employ the skills and knowledge developed earlier in the programme to undertake novel, publication-quality research in applied poultry science.

On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
  1. Demonstrate a critical understanding of some of the principal theories, principles and concepts of APS (1)
  2. Plan and execute a significant project of research in APS (2)
  3. Critically review, consolidate and extend knowledge, skills and thinking in APS (3)
  4. Communicate with peers, more senior colleagues and specialists on a topic in APS (4)
  5. Take responsibility for their own work, while demonstrating initiative and making a contribution to development or new thinking in APS (5)

A. Research and Enquiry
