Aims of course
1 To provide a basic understanding of a wide range of landscape engineering and environmental design topics with special reference to road and drainage engineering, the reclamation of derelict land, bioengineering and the environmental impact of landscape reclamation projects.

On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
  1. demonstrate an understanding of a wide range of landscape engineering skills and techniques and their application to landscape design
  2. demonstrate an understanding of a wide range of landscape remediation and bioengineering skills and techniques and their application to landscape design
  3. apply theory and precedents of landscape engineering to individual land reclamation project
