1 To introduce the basic principles and processes of Ecology
2 to illustrate the importance of these processes to the practice of landscape architecture
3 to encourage and improve field observation of ecological processes

On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- communicate an understanding of the basic principles and processes of ecology and the role of human beings in these
