SummaryThis course consists of work in translating Chinese texts into English at higher intermediate level.

Course description This course consists of work translating modern Chinese texts into English, both with long deadlines and at speed. Your work will be centred around 6 contemporary topics, and we will explore each topic through different texts over 3-4 weeks. You will deal with a variety of different writing styles and genres, and your source texts will be distributed equally between simplified and traditional scripts.
