SummaryStudents will be required to spend a total of 30 weeks attending university in Japan and following a programme of approved study. They will normally participate in an exchange with one of our partner universities in Japan, where Japanese language classes for foreign students will form part of the curriculum. The course aims to enable students to deepen their knowledge and understanding of Japanese language (developing their skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening) and culture through living and studying in Japan.

By the end of the course, students should:
be able to demonstrate their ability to understand and use Japanese effectively in everyday life and in the academic environment of a university
