Reflective Review of personal and academic development
This course consists of the preparation of a Reflective Portfolio demonstrating independent learning and personal development through generic skills training, attendance at research seminars, participation in meetings, independent reading, and engagement beyond that directly related to the taught component and the research project, carried out under the guidance of the Programme Director and as appropriate, the project supervisor(s).

Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- The development of knowledge and understanding of current research topics in the field of Biomedical Sciences

- The development and demonstration of the ability to work independently under the guidance of their supervisor(s) to achieve desired outcomes
