The course will be based around these main topics:
- Gross anatomy of the central nervous system (including blood supply and meninges)
- Gross anatomy of the peripheral nervous system
- Spinal cord, spinal nerves and autonomic nervous system

Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Gain an appreciation of the gross and cellular anatomy of the nervous system.
- Identify particular aspects of the nervous system at various levels.
- Relate structure to function in the context of neurodegenerative disease.
- Critically read and present data from scientific papers.
