| Summary | This course will focus on questions of what might be understood to constitute a specifically literary 'postmodernism', through exploring the treatment of various key themes and elements (language, genre, histories, myth, forms, character, place) by selected writers.
Places on this course will be offered to students on the MSc in Creative Writing programme in the first instance. |

Learning Outcomes
| Students should acquire broad understanding of theories of postmodernity and of postmodernist writing, along with a wider awareness of examples of the latter, and of the interconnection and political and cultural implications of theory and practice.
