Summary | This course will take the students self-generated final project developed during Interior Design 4A & 4B and develop ways in which it can be disseminated to a variety of professional audiences. It will also give students experience in applying for jobs or post graduate study and the associated professional material associated with the process. |
Course description |
This course involves students professionally presenting their self-generated final project as developed in Interior Design 4A & 4B, along with their own professional identity as a designer, through a suite of promotional items.
They should produce images that show their Interior Design proposals in a realistic manner, to complement the final scheme. Students will also be expected to design and produce a design book that details the entire self-generated project journey, edited from all information gathered and produced. They will also be required to produce suite of professional information including a CV, sample letter of application and mini (edited) portfolio.

Written feedback on Discussion Forums and/ or group verbal feedback from peers and staff on a regular basis.
Midway through semester 2 students will submit a self-evaluation form, and be given written formative feedback and grades on their work to date. |

On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Critically evaluate their personal design journey to demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of the subject, and present this through a suite of promotional items.
- Creatively define key design elements of the final interior design project through visual presentation techniques.
- Communicate their final year interior design project in a professionally curated design book presentation.
