Course description |
The anatomy and physiology of the cardiovascular, respiratory and neurological systems will be evaluated and applied to clinical situations related to dental sedation. The pharmacology of the available drugs for dental sedation will be presented and appraised. The history of pain control in dentistry will be explored and the use of local anaesthetic evaluated.
