Summary | The aim of this module is to introduce you to the theoretical analysis of growth, economic fluctuations and the role of macroeconomics policy. Learning Outcomes
To give students a command of some of the main tools of microeconomic analysis, so that they can go on to study areas such as modern micro-founded macroeconomics, industrial economics, public economics, labour economics, environmental economics, international economics and finance; and to show how such microeconomic analysis can be applied in making the transition from theoretical models to empirical/policy models.
