Students are expected to engage regularly in independent language learning via the e-learning modules set up on Learn. Course description |
This course will be organized around a structural-communicative methodology, in which students are expected to acquire the basic foundations of Basque language. The course will be arranged so as to provide the student with the opportunity to practice main linguistic skills: oral and written comprehension and oral and written expression. The learning process of such a typologically diverse language requires the fundamental step of establishing solid foundations. At this stage of the learning process, it is pivotal to understand certain structural particularities of the Basque language that constitute its specificity. Assimilation of concepts is best acquired by means of practice. Such practice will be guided in class and supported online. It is important to underscore that references to Basque culture and its socio-linguistic aspect will be a constant.
