Learning Outcomes
At the end of the course the students will understand :
- The use of stem cells in modelling disease processes and how this can be applied to new drug discovery
- Stem cell derived tissues in drug development and toxicology
- How industrial processes differ from academic research, in the areas of GMP, QA and scale
- How legislation and regulatory bodies affect the production and delivery of stem cell based products
