Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
  1. Thoroughly understand measure theory and theorems of convergence: Monotone and Dominated Convergence Theorems, Radon Nikodym theorem, L^p spaces, product measures, Riesz representation theorems, differentiation of measures.
  2. Appreciate applications of abstract theory of measure to fractal sets and Hausdorff dimensions.
