Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Demonstrate a breadth and depth of knowledge in key, selected areas of Medical Science
- Discuss and critically evaluate the scientific and ethical challenges that confront Medical Science research in the 21st century
- Apply a broad range of skills and experiences, including interpersonal skills, communication and critical judgement, that will provide a solid foundation for subsequent careers
- Demonstrate advanced development and application of literature-searching skills, and an ability to understand and evaluate original scientific articles
- Critically interpret and draw together all relevant information that leads to the formulation of a novel research question related to your dissertation project
