Summary | A focus on the creative practice of musical composition through exploration into the technique and creative considerations of writing for a specific compositional idiom and notational concerns. The student's own creative work will be developed in individual tutorials. Students will be expected to participate in putting on a public performance of at least one of their works in a class concert. Students are encouraged to make a rigorous exploration of the horizons of their musical experience and interest. |
