SummaryA focus on the creative practice of musical composition through exploration into the technique and creative considerations of writing for a specific compositional idiom and notational concerns. The student's own creative work will be developed in individual tutorials. Students will be expected to participate in putting on a public performance of at least one of their works in a class concert. Students are encouraged to make a rigorous exploration of the horizons of their musical experience and interest.
Course description The study and practice of creative music composition.

Pre-requisites It is RECOMMENDED that students have passed Composition 2 (MUSI08030)

Pre-requisitesVisiting students should have at least three semesters in Music Theory. We will only consider University/College level courses. On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
