| Course description |
The principal intention of the Portfolio is to provide you with an opportunity to pursue an individual creative path, towards the completion of a musical work (or works), notated and presented in a way appropriate for public performance.

Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Demonstrate the ability to create musical materials and formal structures, in the production of one or more extended pieces of creative work.
- Demonstrate the ability to notate musical intentions clearly, for other musicians and performers, in the production of a musical score (or scores).
- Demonstrate a knoweledge of the artistic context of the creative work, through intertextual references and statements.
- Demonstrate the ability to initiate and complete an individual creative project, in all its details.
