Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Understand the epidemiology of oral disease
- Discuss the prevalence, risk factors, diagnosis and management of oral disease
- Identify the different methods available for the diagnosis of oral disease and evaluate them
- Demonstrate the ability to carry out a thorough history and examination
- Describe the assessment of dental emergency and achieve an accurate diagnosis
