Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Describe the importance of monitoring the developing dentition
- Utilise a screening tool for the identification of occlusal problems
- Identify specific circumstances when interceptive orthodontics may be beneficial
- Describe the orthodontic, restorative and surgical management of a range of paediatric-orthodontic conditions
- Appreciate which patients require referral to secondary care service
