SummaryPlant growth and development are inextricable linked as plant meristems and organs maintain growth activity throughout the lifecycle.
Course description In this course we will dissect the processes by which plants control and execute growth and development. We aim to strike a balance between the metabolic process underpinning growth and development and the regulatory pathways that control them.

Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
  1. Students will gain an appreciation of the molecular-genetic basis for plant growth and Students will critically evaluate scientific papers.
  2. Students will sharpen skills to communicate and discuss complex issues both orally and in writing.
