Summary | This course introduces students to a range of specialist techniques used in psychological research, particularly Cognitive Neuroscience. Techniques include: EEG, fMRI, TMS, fNIRS, and single-case statistics for neuropsychology.

Course description |
This course introduces students to a range of specialist techniques used in psychological research, particularly Cognitive Neuroscience, through a parallel series of technique-focused lectures, and practically-focused workshop-style events and/or online activities.
This course will cover the basic principles of these techniques, and their advantages and disadvantages, considering the sorts of research questions to which each might be applied.
Students are required to attend all lectures, and a set number of workshops, which may vary in a given year.
