| Course description |
A case study based course investigating the ways in which policy influences what food is grown, and how we consume it. Students will gain knowledge and understanding of what policies are, how they are developed, and how they are influenced. They will gain practice experience of policy analysis tools in specific food related case studies.

Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Students will have knowledge and understanding of the role of public policy and its development with specific food context (SQF 11.1)
- Students will have practical applied knowledge of policy analysis methods relating to food policies (SQF 11.2)
- Students will be able to critically analysis food related policies (SQF 11.3)
- Students will gain experience creating policy specific materials such as policy briefs for a specific audience (policy makers) (SQF 11.5)
