Notes:
Jewellery & Silversmithing Core Courses DESI08143 and DESI08144 must be passed to progress to Year 2.

To continue without the need for an extension to the total period of study, a full-time student must attain a minimum of 80 credit points by the end of Year 1. Total credits per year must equal 120.

Notes:
To progress into year 4 students must pass all courses (360 credits); in exceptional circumstances, with the permission of the Board and CSPC concession, students may be permitted to carry up to 40 credits into final honours year.

In Semester 2, students may opt to take DESI10132 Work-Based Placement: Reflecting on Design Professions (40 credits) in place of DESI09097 Design Externality Major ¿ Jewellery & Silversmithing Semester 2 (40 credits). This course can only be taken when a placement has been agreed with your Programme Director and the Course Organiser.

With the permission of the School of Design, Students may opt to take DESI10053 Design & Screen Cultures 4 (Extended) (40 credits) in place of DESI10052 Design & Screen Cultures 4 (20 credits) and replacing DESI10031 Design Research 4 (Jewellery & Silversmithing) (40 credits) with DESI10015 Design Research 4 (20-credit option - Jewellery & Silversmithing)
