Social Policy Pre-Honours

Select between 0 and 20 credits of the following courses

Select between 0 and 40 credits from Level 7 and 8 courses in Schedules A-Q, T, W and Y
Selected courses must be passed

Year 2 Academic year: 2021/22, Starting in: August

Students who have passed 240 credits and achieved marks of 50% or more at the first attempt in all required Social and Political Science second-year degree courses and a pass in Economics 2, and Statistical Methods for Economics are entitled to progress to honours.

Students who are planning on spending their third year abroad must successfully progress to honours before they can proceed on their Junior Year Abroad.

Entry into third year requires (i) passes in all courses (240 credits) in the first two years, (ii) a mark of 50% or above in Economics 2 at the first attempt and (iii) a pass in Statistical Methods for Economics.

Students who are planning on spending their Junior Year Abroad must successfully progress to honours before they can proceed on their JYA.
