Learning Outcomes 
| On completion of this course, the student will be able to: 
        translate competently from Spanish in a variety of styles and registers and in a range of genres;deal effectively with cultural and linguistic differences between texts in Spanish and English;engage successfully with register, idiom, rhythm, nuance and ambiguity in translation;demonstrate competence in the identification, analysis and evaluation of the translation problems that the texts raise with reflection upon process. |
