Learning Outcomes 
| On completion of this course, the student will be able to: 
        recognise and translate the basic morphology of Classical Greek;recognise and translate the basic syntactical constructions of Classical Greek;translate short extracts from Greek into English;translate basic sentences from English into Greek;analyse and reflect critically upon the Greek language and upon scholarly and conceptual discussions about approaches to the language. |
