Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
  1. translate advanced texts on a wide range of topics from English into Scottish Gaelic
  2. write in the upper registers of Scottish Gaelic associated with formal aspects of public life such as broadcasting, administration and government
  3. identify and produce different registers of Scottish Gaelic and use the idiom and vocabulary appropriate to each
  4. demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of Scottish Gaelic grammar and idiom at an advanced level
