|Summary||A focus on the creative practice of musical composition through exploration into the technique and creative considerations of writing for a specific compositional idiom and notational concerns. The student's own creative work will be developed in individual tutorials. Students will be expected to participate in putting on a public performance of at least one of their works in a class concert. Students are encouraged to make a rigorous exploration of the horizons of their musical experience and interest.
The study and practice of creative music composition.

|Pre-requisites||Visiting students should have at least three semesters in Music Theory. We will only consider University/College level courses. You must contact the course organiser for the course to seek their permission to enrol in the course, then send that written confirmation to the Visiting Student Office for consideration.
