On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Demonstrate a critical understanding of current issues relating to the application of population genetics in reintroductions, tranlocations and population monitoring.
- Be able to apply population genetic theory and conduct appropriate data analysis relevant to informing reintroductions, translocations and population monitoring.
- Communicate the results of population genetic analysis to relevant stakeholders involved in conservation planning.
