DEGREE REGULATIONS & PROGRAMMES OF STUDY 2022/2023

For an MScR, students must take at least 40 credits of research courses (though may take up to 80 credits).

There are 2 compulsory research course (40 credits) for this programme:
Humanities Arts-informed Research Methods in Social Sciences and Research Skills in the Social Sciences: Data Collection. Students have the option to choose other relevant 20 credit research courses.

A minimum of 150 credits must be at SCQF Level 11.

Indicative research courses are listed below but students may take other courses from across the University, with the agreement of the Programme Director and assuming availability of the course. Courses change annually, and may not run each academic year.
