One other course that you might also be interested in, but is not on the DPT for Bioinformatics, is Applied Machine Learning (INFR11211). To take this course you must have experience with linear algebra, basic calculus, stats, and programming. If you are interested in this course, then please email the Programme Director (al.ivens@ed.ac.uk) to discuss your experience. You will only be allocated a place on a course if it is approved by the Programme Director and the relevant Course Organiser: this rule applies to any course that is not listed on the DPT.
