First year students on this programme will be asked to complete a pre-course enrolment form online, prior to arriving in Welcome Week. Full details on how to do this will be provided in the email we send to you in late August. Please consider the following courses.

The credits for your courses should total 120 in each year.

Students failing 'History of Art 1' will not be allowed to progress to year 2 unless recommended as a special circumstances concession from the Exam Board. Students transferring into History of Art from another programme with no prior study in History of Art, may with the permission of the Undergraduate Director of History of Art, be allowed to take 'History of Art 1' and 'History of Art 2' concurrently in year 2.

(i) passes in 240 credits of courses taken in the first two years,
(ii) passes at 50% or above, achieved at the first attempt, in 40 credits of second year History courses, this can include 'The Transformation of the Roman World' (Please note, this does not include ECSH courses listed in the 'Outside course' collection)
