There are four core courses for students on Religious Studies degree programmes and these will run in pairs in alternate years. Students MUST complete all four courses over Years 1 and 2, as available.

Jews and Muslims: Religions, Cultures, Histories

AND

Year 2 Academic year: 2022/23, Starting in: August

For entry to Honours, students MUST achieve a pass of 50% or above, at the first attempt, in English Literature 2.

Compulsory courses

Literary Studies 2A: English Literature in the World, 1380-1788

Must be passed 1st time at 50%

Literary Studies 2B: English Literature in the World, post-1789

Must be passed 1st time at 50%

During Year 3 students must prepare for their dissertation. Further information about this will be provided.

Students wishing to take the English Literature Dissertation are strongly recommended to choose all four Critical Practice courses
