| Summary | Indicative course content A period of recognised employment in which the student finds a placement or undertakes research in the work place, usually in landscape architecture or related professional office or business. Students will be allocated a placement tutor & be required to complete a logbook of their activities or a work place report.
 
 Aims of course
 1 To give students workplace experience in a built environment office or business.
 2 To complement self directed research with work experience or research in a professional or business context.
 3 To prepare students for the Landscape Institute's Pathway to Chartership process, undertaken after graduation.
 
 Mode of delivery
 Desk-based research. Fieldwork. Distance based individual mentoring and review.
