| Summary | This course will provide students with knowledge of how chronic pain develops and the differences between acute and chronic pain. Different strategies for managing acute or chronic pain in various situations will be discussed. |

-	To evaluate different drugs and techniques for management in animals 
-	To select a suggested analgesic plan in a variety of chronic pain situations
